With a fabulous terrace area seating 6 comfortably, the sound of the waves washes over you.
This well furnished, and comfortable cottage, is set immediately above the beach of Forte Sao Joao, a development between the two major tourism centres of Praia D'Oura and Albufeira town. It is an easy walk to both, and there are shops, restaurants bars and cafes in the immediate vicinity as well, so a car is not needed. And the tourism night hot spots are all only minutes away.

The water is only 50 meters in front and you can literally throw a stone onto the beach..(but don't please...), and there is one row of cottages in front of the house, which is set low enough to not spoil the immediate views of the breaking waves in front. There is an upper terrace off the lounge with a portable barbeque, and a larger lower terrace, without views, for sunbathing, onto which, both bedrooms open .
This area is a traffic dead end, so there is very little road traffic except to access the cottages and some apartments in the area. The house does have a private parking area if you have a car, which is important in summer months as the area can be busy.

The upper floor is a good size lounge with TV ( free sat channels including BBC 123 and ITV 123 CNN sky news etc), and two double couches, and an open plan dining table area. The compact, but fully equipped kitchen, with a large fridge freezer, full oven and microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, is well stocked, and is fully functional. We can supply a cot for infants on request but do not allow extra persons to sleep on the sofas please.

Downstairs there are two good size bedrooms, one double ( 1m50) with TV and hanging mosquito net, and twin single beds in the other room, both opening onto the lower terrace, again with the sound of the waves washing in constantly. There is the single bathroom, shared by the rooms, with full bath/shower, bidet, wc and sink. It is marble walled and compact but sumptuous. There are lockable shutters in both rooms, allowing for privacy yet airflow and wave noise to penetrate! There is no air conditioning, but a fan is available for each room, and the sea breezes morning and night, make this a comfortable position for most of the year. This house is not suitable for mobility impaired clients, as there are steps and stairs to the beach, and inside the house.
